I think I will have to find cheaper ways to cheer myself up because I am sitting here with newly manicured nails on my new MacBook who I have named Christian, along with Luca (iPod) and Diego (iPhone). My laptop was on it's way out despite me only having it for exactly a year and I didn't want to be stuck at uni without anything to do work on, so I thought I'd get it beforehand.

I am currently making a list of all the things I need to do before I go to America, it's manageable but I just need to stop being lazy. I'll hopefully get all the money related issues sorted tomorrow, then can do last minute shopping (ie. stocking up on Topshop items) over the weekend.

I also need to start waking up a lot earlier, I waste such a lot of my day that could be spent doing something productive. By the time I wake up it feels like I can't do a whole lot with my day which is a silly feeling but I can't snap out of it. It doesn't really help that I haven't been sleeping well either. I don't know what it is but since Saturday I have felt like complete and utter death. I'm hoping that it's just down to restlessness, I tend to get ill when I'm excited.

I'm currently reading One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. It's been such a long time since I've read a book that I can't bare to put down, definitely recommend it to you all. I made a bet with my sister that I'll finish it by Tuesday (it's her A Level lit text so she'll need it back before I go away) but I think I'll finish it by tonight. Then hopefully I can start and finish Atonement before I go away, as I'm planning on reading Don Quixote on the plane.
